Health Insurance
IEE has secured insurance that meets the Department of State rules and regulations for J-1 visitors. Proof of
sufficient health and accident insurance must be in accordance with the U.S. Government regulations. IEE currently utilizes the insurance services of CISI (Cultural Insurance Services International) and World Trips for our participant’s insurance.
Insurance begins with the start date on your DS-2019 form and ends with the end date on your DS-2019
form We recommend that you purchase additional insurance to cover any time you are in the country
prior to your start date as well as your 30 day grace period. This additional coverage is not available
through our insurance company.
