Cancellation Policy
All program and insurance fees are due with submission of application.
If applicant is not accepted into the program for any reason, program fees will be refunded less a $100 administration fee.
Cancellations by participant received before the DS-2019 is issued will be subject to a $250 cancellation fee.
Cancellations received by a participant after the DS-2019 is issued will be subject to a $500 cancellation fee, providing the unused DS-2019 is returned to IEE. If the original DS form is not returned within 10 days of issuance, refunds will not be issued.
In the case of a visa denial, applicant must return the unused original DS-2019 form to IEE’s office and submit proof of the denial from the embassy within 10 business days of the denial. Once IEE has received the original DS-2019 form, 50% of the program fees will be returned. Refunds will not be issued if the DS-2019 form is not returned or received within 10 business days of denial.
In no case will a refund be issued to participants who have received their visa or entered the United States.
Note: The following fees are to be paid by Participant and are not included in IEE sponsorship fees: worldwide Visa application fee of $160.00. SEVIS fee of $180.00 for each Intern/Trainee and $35.00 for Work and Travel.
